This foundation course introduces the practical skills development professionals use to know whether their work is actually making a difference. Across four two-hour sessions, fellows move from the basics; what monitoring, evaluation and learning each mean and where they sit in the programme cycle; through to building results frameworks, choosing and writing sound indicators, collecting trustworthy data, and turning findings into better decisions. It pairs core concepts with hands-on activities and real Nigerian examples, so fellows are able to plan and run a complete MEL cycle, not just define the terms.
Sessions: (1) Foundations of MEL; (2) Results frameworks & indicators; (3) Collecting data; (4) Analysis, learning & use.
